Before we start figuring out where the ethnic groups go, we need to figure out where people started out living, and branch out from there.

Thoughts?

Well, we all seem to agree the west continent should be Africa, but the westernmost point of the eastern continent has been established as Iberia already (i.e. not Colchis) (and Slav-descendant negroids is just weird).

To anyone: do either of these locations for a common spring look good?

Right, I thought so too. I'll wait for further input, but this was what I was thinking of if that was the one chosen (but didn't have time to actually make as I had to run):

The land can still be fiddled with if necessary (it might need to be, as it's missing various ethic groups and whole civilizations, including Mayan, Inca, Shawnee, Cherokee, etc, although we can do without a totally Earth-style distribution).
